28 Jan 2021 Path Resorts Food Drive
The past couple of years have been extremely difficult for some and we have seen the hardships firsthand within our local communities. Path Resorts employees recently had the opportunity to help local families and children in need by hosting a charity food drive. Team members from Path Resorts came together to donate hundreds of non-perishable food items for the drive between November 5th – December 5th to assist with the fight against hunger. There were collection boxes located at each of our properties: Steele Hill Resort, the Summit Resort and the Center Harbor Inn and Path employees were encouraged to help efforts by donating to the charity.
The company promised to match donations item for item in this year’s food drive. Path employees came together and dropped off a total of 155 non-perishable food items matched by the company for a grand total of 310 food donations! Items collected included cereal, breakfast bars, rice, soup, beans, macaroni and cheese and so much more. On the week of December 5th, we gathered all the collection bins and transported the items to the local Agape Ministries Servants Inc Food Pantry located just up the road from the Center Harbor Inn. With the assistance of the pantry, the food was distributed to individuals and families in need. Not only were we able to directly help our local communities, but we were also able to raise awareness about regional hunger while doing so.
