29 May Supporting Our Neighbors: Path Resorts Volunteers at Day of Caring
On Friday, May 16th, six dedicated team members from Path Resorts joined community partners to participate in Granite United Way’s Day of Caring—a tradition that usually takes place in the fall, but was newly reimagined this year as a spring event. With the sun shining and temperatures high, it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days of the year, perfectly setting the stage for a day of meaningful outdoor work and teamwork.
Our volunteers gathered just steps away from our Summit Resort property at Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center, a local nonprofit that fosters environmental awareness and outdoor education. Working alongside volunteers from Meredith Village Savings Bank, Nathan Wechsler & Company, and Liberty Financial Mortgage, our team was proud to roll up their sleeves and give back to the community in a tangible way.
Throughout the day, our group tackled a variety of tasks that helped prepare the farm for the upcoming growing season. This included removing invasive vines near the solar panels and bee hives, tending to the garden beds with raking, soiling and nutrient additions, and installing fencing around the larger garden beds to help keep groundhogs at bay. Our volunteers also mulched the preschool steps and added fresh soil to the flower beds and areas surrounding the trees, contributing to the beautification and functionality of the property.
At Path Resorts, we are passionate about community involvement and supporting local organizations that make a difference. Participating in Granite United Way’s Day of Caring is just one of the ways we put our values into action. We’re proud of our team members who dedicated their time and energy to making an impact and strengthening our connection to the Lakes Region community. We look forward to participating again in future Day of Caring events and continuing to support Prescott Farm and other local nonprofits who share our commitment to stewardship, education and community-building.
