02 Dec Path Resorts Supports Hurricane Melissa Relief Efforts

When Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica earlier this fall, many of our Path Resorts employees were personally affected through family and friends back home. Hearing their stories inspired our organization to come together and offer support during this difficult time. Over the past several weeks, our team at Path Resorts worked together to collect and ship hundreds of essential items to help with relief efforts overseas. The response from our staff and partners was tremendous and demonstrated the true spirit of our Path Resorts community.
We received generous contributions from our longtime business partners. Boston Textile Company donated a large supply of linens, towels and bedding for families who lost so much during the storm. Gordon Food Service provided a significant donation of rice and beans, twenty-five fifty-pound bags, to help support basic food needs. Home Depot added flashlights and batteries for areas still experiencing unreliable access to electricity. Path Resorts also purchased hundreds of non-perishable food items from BJ’s Wholesale Club to ensure the shipment brought practical comfort to those recovering.
From sorting donations to preparing shipments, our employees worked together with care, compassion and determination. Our teamwork made it possible to provide meaningful support to the families and communities most impacted by the storm. At Path Resorts, we have always believed that our greatest strength lies in our people. We are proud of the kindness shown throughout this effort and remain committed to supporting our Jamaican team members and their loved ones as their communities rebuild and recover.
