26 May Path Resorts Team Volunteers at Wanakee for Day of Caring

Giving back to the communities we call home has always been an important part of the culture at Path Resorts. Each year, our team looks forward to participating in Granite United Way’s Day of Caring, an event that brings together local businesses and volunteers to support nonprofit organizations throughout New Hampshire’s Lakes Region.
This year, five Path Resorts team members spent the day volunteering at Wanakee, a nonprofit summer camp and retreat center dedicated to providing affordable camping experiences and outdoor programs for children of all ages. Nestled along the shores of Lake Pemigewasset, Wanakee has long served as a place where young people can connect with nature, build friendships and create lasting memories.
Throughout the day, our team worked on a variety of projects to help prepare the property for the upcoming summer season. Volunteers painted and stained portions of the recreation hall, completed touch-up painting projects around the grounds and assisted with general property preparation to help ensure the camp is ready to welcome campers in the months ahead. With warm weather and summer activities just around the corner, the work completed during the Day of Caring will help create a fresh and welcoming environment for the many children and families who visit Wanakee each year.
At Path Resorts, we believe strong communities are built through teamwork, service and meaningful local partnerships. Participating in Granite United Way’s Day of Caring gives our team the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and contribute directly to organizations making a positive impact throughout the region. We are proud of our team members for donating their time and energy and grateful to Granite United Way and Wanakee for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful day!
